Public Abstract has created an electronic foreclosure certificate that can be transmitted to
your office via the Internet. Scanned copies of necessary recorded documents are included
with the e-Foreclosure Certificate.
Our e-Foreclosure Certificate includes, but is not limited to:
- a search that meets your requirements (i.e., current owner, 10, 20, 40 year search, all liens included);
- electronically scanned copies of state tax warrants and federal tax liens, electronically scanned copy
of the mortgage to be foreclosed and supporting documents (i.e., assignments of mortgage, subordination
agreements, etc.) and an electronically scanned copy of the current deed;
- a bankruptcy search against the current owner(s) and original obligor that includes the status of the
proceeding, name, address and social security number of the debtor;
- a real estate tax search;
- a continuation search prior to filing
- and the filing of the Lis Pendens, Summons and Complaint is an added service provided in
conjunction with our e-Foreclosure Certificate.
